The oldest church in Ithaca, the St. James African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Zion Church, has anchored the Southside community as a place of worship, community life, and activism since the 1830s.

As a Collegetown neighborhood church, we are queer affirming community committed to anti racism and a space for all. Temple Beth-El is a vibrant center of Jewish life in downtown Ithaca, offering cultural, educational, and religious experiences. Affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, we welcome Jews of all backgrounds and people of all identities and faiths to join our services and programs.

Vineyard Church of Ithaca encounters God, engages community, and equips God's people. We do this through Spirit-filled worship services, enriching kids classes and activities, weekly small groups that encourage discipleship, and more. We have a casual style with a multi-ethnic congregation.
